Amanda

Amanda joined Blaine Family as a veterinary receptionist in September of 2022.  She initially went to school to be a veterinary technician but was not able to finish the program due to the school closing.  Her favorite thing about working in veterinary medicine is all of the personal connections that she makes with the families that come in.  She also finds it rewarding to be a part of helping an animal in need.  Amanda comes from a big Irish family that loves to spend time together!  She is very proud of her younger brother who is serving overseas and her dad who is a retired police officer.  She also has 2 furry family members that she considers her “soul dogs”, a 5-year old Wheaton named Mia and a 12-year old Newfie mix named Annie.  When she is not working, Amanda enjoys fishing, hunting, long walks with her dogs, cooking, concerts and traveling.
