Dr. Heather Lee
Dr Lee has always had an interest in science and animals and is glad she could find a profession that combines these two loves. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 2013. She then decided to do an elective rotating internship at a large referral hospital in San Diego for a year. This allowed her to see a lot of interesting complex cases in a short period of time. After finishing her internship, she returned to Minnesota and started working at a small animal clinic.
She recently joined the Blaine Family team in July 2021. Her interests in veterinary medicine include preventative care, internal medicine, and dentistry. One of the things she enjoys most is helping people understand and make educated decisions about their pets health care.
She shares her home with her two pit bull mixes (Bowie and Ziggy) and her three cats (Lego, Ptera, and Podrick). Outside of work she enjoys hanging out with her pets or meeting up with friends to try new restaurants or breweries. She also enjoys cooking, baking, hiking, fishing, and traveling.
